Newsies Nomination Party on Monday, March 10
Nominations for the Tulsa Press Club Newsies will be announced live at a special event that will start at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10, at the Tulsa Press Club, 415 S. Boston.
For the first time ever, you are invited to be present as we announce the names of the nominees for such categories as Favorite Feature Writer, Favorite Anchor Team, Favorite News/Talk Radio, Favorite Mobile News App and of course, Favorite Overall News Source. This year’s nominees represent a wide variety of Tulsa’s Media outlets and there will be some fierce competition.
Public voting for the awards will open on Tuesday, March 11.
We will have light snacks and drink specials for the announcement, which will wrap up by 5:30 p.m.
The Awards will be presented on April 3 at Sky Loft at Fifth Place. Reserved table sponsorships are available at $500 and $1,500. Individual open seating tickets are $25. The Tulsa Press Club honors outstanding journalism from Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa. Tables are available for reservation for the Great Plains Journalism Awards on Friday, May 16 at the Mayo Hotel. Come join us in honoring outstanding journalists from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa.
