The Great Plains Journalism Competition awards outstanding work in newspapers, magazines and websites. Sponsored and started by the Tulsa Press Club, the regional journalism awards honor the best magazine, web and newspaper work from eight states.

Hailey Branson-Potts and Mark Potts, reporter and videographer from the Los Angeles Times who won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for breaking news coverage of the San Bernardino terrorist attack. Both are Oklahoma natives and will present workshops to conference attendees.
