Legislative Reception

Since 1992 the Lawmakers Reception has been held by the Tulsa Press Club every two years just prior to the general election. Invitations are extended to incumbents and candidates seeking state and federal offices, as well as to city officials, selected community leaders and members of the Tulsa Press Club. The Lawmakers Reception brings together members of the press, broadcasters, candidates, incumbents, club members and community leaders for an evening of social and political interaction. For one social evening, politicians put aside their platforms and reporters put down their pencils.
